DPD and Seattle Public Utilities will lead green roof walking tours on Friday, July 30, and Tuesday, August 3, 2010. Tours will run from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., and will visit four or five sites including the Seattle Justice Center and the 5th and Madison rooftop plaza. At each location, guest speakers will cover topics including green roof design and construction, maintenance, and functional benefits.

The tours coincide with the release of a new City of Seattle green roof inventory and report, mapping existing green roofs in Seattle and providing details on new regulations and trends.
