Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is developing Availability Certificate Policies for Drainage and Wastewater, similar to the Water Availability Certificate Policies. The goal is to provide early notification to permit applicants about drainage and wastewater requirements, including any required system improvements to provide greater certainty and ensure a consistent process for all applicants.
SPU is in the early stages of developing this new process and gathering input from a variety of people in the building community. Focus groups will be held with members of the development community to hear their ideas about how the process should work and the best practices they’ve experienced in other jurisdictions.
Focus groups will be held in Room 4070 (40th Floor) in Seattle Municipal Tower (corner of 5th Avenue and Columbia) in downtown Seattle:
- 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Monday, April 25, 2011
- 7:30-8:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 26, 2011
- Noon-1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 26, 2011
