The 2011 Built Green Conference & Festival will be held on September 14 at Pickering Barn in Issaquah, WA. The conference is seeking engaging speakers to share advanced technical knowledge, on-the-ground expertise and visionary wisdom on a wide-range of topics. If you have a new angle on any facet of the industry, and insight into trends and/or breakthroughs in design and technologies, and you know how to capture an audience, please submit an abstract and biography.
The Northwest’s premier green building conference for industry professionals will feature a green products and services EXPO, numerous educational workshops on green building, design, marketing and real estate.
The education tracks presented at the 2011 Built Green Conference & Festival will focus on the following areas:
- The Field: building science and performance metrics, technical advice that can be applied to projects, energy efficiency, indoor air quality, deconstruction and engineering
- Innovation: the future of our environment and built communities.
- The Green Market: finance appraisal value studies and professional networking
Working with Jurisdictions: navigating jurisdictional hurdles, incentive programs and facilitating green building within public agencies
Abstracts and biographies are due July 1, 2011. Each should be 300 words or less.
