FINAL
- DR 4-2020, Exemptions from Installation Permits. The 2005 Seattle Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code had an exemption for pressure vessels not exceeding 5.0 cubic feet volume or 250 PSI in other than A, E, or I occupancies (Sec 100.F). This exemption also exists in the State of Washington Boiler and Unfired Pressure Laws (RCW 70.79.080(5)). This exemption was omitted from the 2017 Seattle Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code. This rule reestablishes this exemption.
- DR 5-2020, Emergency Shutdown Switch. The State of Washington mandates emergency shutdown switches only for installations over 400,000 BTU/Hr. This rule brings us in line with the State.
