This year’s Building Safety Month themes include Building Safety Starts at Home and Prepare Your Community. Our presentations on inspections and earthquake readiness will help you understand how to make your home and community more prepared for emergencies by following the building and electrical codes, by earthquake retrofitting your home or building, and by completing all required building and electrical inspections.  These presentations are a great opportunity for you to meet with SDCI experts and ask questions about your specific project or situation. We are taking this opportunity to share our expertise to give back to our community on the One Seattle Day of Service.

We are proud to be part of the International Code Council’s Building Safety Month and to support the One Seattle Day of Service. Building Safety Month is held every May to help raise awareness of building safety issues. The One Seattle Day of Service is an opportunity for every Seattle neighbor to participate in volunteer opportunities to give back to neighborhoods across the city.
