We’re looking for 3 people to join our Construction Codes Advisory Board (CCAB). We’re seeking civic-minded individuals with diverse perspectives and experience with building design, development or construction. Deadline to apply is end-of-day April 30, 2025.

Each board member serves a 3-year term. Members serve until they are reappointed or someone is appointed to replace them. Seats are designated for specific stakeholder groups. We are currently looking candidates for the following seats:
- Electrical Engineer
- Electrical Contractor
- General Contractor
This 13-member board, appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by Seattle City Council, provides feedback to the City on important topics impacting development and construction in Seattle including:
- Periodic adoption and update of the City’s construction codes,
- Requests for review of building official determinations, and
- Proposed Director’s Rules and formal code interpretations.
