The City of Seattle is in the process of updating Seattle’s Stormwater Code and Stormwater Manual as required by the Washington State Department of Ecology. The proposed legislation for the 2026 Stormwater Code is available at the Council Bill 121190 website under the “Text” tab.
The Seattle City Council has May meetings where public comments will be accepted.
Upcoming Meeting Dates
- May 14, 2026* – Governance & Utilities Committee anticipated vote to recommend passing the legislation.
- May 19, 2026* – Full City Council Meeting anticipated vote to adopt the proposed 2026 Stormwater Code.
