We have almost finished a redesign of our website, www.seattle.gov/dpd. We will be releasing the new site in a couple of months. We think you’ll find our simpler design, with “plain language” content, easier to use and understand. Our site has a new focus on making things easier for the first-time user, but we’ve also made sure our frequent users have easy access to their favorite information and tools with our “Dig Deeper” sections.

2012 Code Adoption Update
DPD is on schedule for new editions of seven codes to take effect next summer or fall. Public review of the 2012 Seattle building, residential, existing building, mechanical, fuel gas, energy and plumbing codes is almost complete.
