Limited Inspections Per Governor’s Stay at Home Order

On March 25, Governor Inslee issued a Construction Guidance Memo. In response, SDCI is reducing our inspection services to only those that support construction activity that is deemed essential.

Reminder: Changes to Water Availability Certificate and Determination Request Process

SDCI Extends Closure of Customer Service Areas

After much discussion, and in accordance with public health guidance, the City closed its public-facing counters across multiple departments, including SDCI. We expect to reopen our counters Monday, April 13, but will continue to evaluate this timeline as the pandemic situation evolves.

SDCI Closes Customer Service Areas

As of Monday, March 16, the Seattle Department of Construction and Inspections has modified the way our services are provided and closed the Applicant Services Center, Public Resource Center, and 19th floor reception area until further notice [or until date].
