In an effort to create a more predictable design review process, while continuing to strive for high quality architecture and urban design, DPD will be implementing the following procedures beginning in January 2013:
-
Following initial review of the application and correction, applicants shall meet with the assigned planner to discuss responses to design correction items.
-
Following re-submittal of the corrected plans to DPD, the applicant is responsible for alerting the assigned planner of the re-submittal. The planner will then schedule the recommendation meeting with the Design Review Board at the earliest available meeting slot (minimum of six weeks).
-
The applicant is responsible for submitting a draft hard copy of the Recommendation Design Review packet at the time of plan re-submittal, as well as uploading the draft to the Design Review website.
-
It is expected that the applicant and planner will continue to work together to develop a design that is responsive to board and staff guidance.
