SDCI will be launching an improved method for our customers to submit public comments for some land use and early design guidance projects. Starting in late October, customers will be able to submit a public comment online and attach supporting photos, documents, etc., using the Seattle Services Portal.
The new public comments feature will include:
A map view of land use and early design guidance records accepting comments
The ability to view comments others have submitted
A much easier and quicker method of submitting public comments
Comments posted to each project record within minutes after they were submitted
Once we launch this new public comment submittal method, everybody will be able to easily see what others are saying about proposed changes and quickly identify projects within a certain area.
Look for an announcement in our November Building Connections newsletter for more detail about this new public comment option.
