We’re very excited to announce that our new Permit and Site History Research Tool is now live – visit our Research a Project website for the link!
The objective of this new tool is to offer a self-service tool that is equally useful to both internal and external users, bringing the current constellation of resources into one consolidated location. The new tool includes the following features:
- Locate a site either by address or map view
- Download a new Site Characteristics report that provides current zoning information overlays and other land use data
- Useful links to King County, Shaping Seattle and SDCI Property Information Map (GIS) webpages
- Clear depiction of the relationship between addresses and Development Sites
- Search results for all records via links to our Seattle Services Portal permitting system as well as our older permitting systems
- Search and download all available plans, documents and historical permits
- Ability to filter these results by date, record type and/or key word
- Links to provide feedback or report technical issues are included on the Support page. We welcome all feedback about your experiences using this tool and hope that you will take the time to complete the short feedback survey.
We have also created a two-page Permit & Site History Research Tool Quick Sheet that provides instructions for using and navigating the tool. The Research a Project website includes links to both the tool and the Quick Sheet.
We hope you will find this new tool to be clear, useful and efficient and helpful to your work. Happy researching!
