This month’s publication updates include CAM 503, Side Sewer Permits in Seattle, and DR 3-2012, Pike/Pine Overlay District: Character Structures that Cannot be Demolished if Incentives Allowing Additional Height and Floor Size are Used on a Lot Within the Pike/Pine Conservation Overlay District.
DPD has updated CAM 316, Subject-to-Field-Inspection Permits. DPD published draft DR 2-2012/SDOT 4-2012, West Seattle Triangle Streetscape Concept Plan and final DR 1-2012, Implementation of the Fee Subtitle, Building Valuation Data.
Two new Director’s Rules, DR 8-2011 and DR 11-2011, were published this month.
Four new Director’s Rules went into effect in April 2011.
Three draft rules are available that would interpret a height measurement technique, landscaping provisions (green factor) and frequent transit service (used in calculating parking requirements in certain areas). These rules are anticipated to be effective at the same time, April 19, 2011, as related legislation that was recently adopted by the City Council: the Lowrise multifamily code update and clarified in clean-up legislation.
