El condado de King recibió autorización de la Secretaría de Salud del estado de Washington (Washington State Secretary of Health) para pasar a la fase 2 del plan Safe Start del gobernador. Esto les permitiría a algunas actividades y negocios incrementar sus operaciones y, al mismo tiempo, limitar la cantidad de personas en el lugar lo que, en el plan de reapertura, se denomina “ocupación”. If you’re interested in using space on the sidewalk or street in front of your business to add a temporary café or additional retail space or if you are a food truck owner who would like to try out new vending locations, you will need a Street Use permit from the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT). We’ve created free temporary permit options to expand our support for restaurants, retail stores, food trucks, and other vendors. These permits are good for up to six months.

King County has received permission from the Washington State Secretary of Health to move into Phase 2 of the Governor’s Safe Start plan, which would allow some businesses and activities to increase operations while limiting the number of people in the space, referred to as the “occupancy” in the reopening plan.
